IOM Budapest and the Cordelia Foundation, in cooperation with the National Police, organized capacity building trainings around the topics of children’s rights and the vulnerabilities of migrant children for first responder police and border guard professionals in Budapest and in Kiskunhalas on the 28th June 2017. As part of the training we had informal discussions about identifying traumas, having a better understanding of intercultural differences, and also the assessment of children’s best interests.
